Abstract: This paper explores the application of Digital Twin technology to enhance operations within Physical Internet Hubs (PI-Hubs). Focusing on advanced monitoring and resource management, the study addresses the challenges of real-time data integration and operational efficiency in logistics. Digital Twins are utilized to create dynamic, virtual models of PI-Hub operations, which facilitate precise monitoring and effective management of resources. By simulating and analyzing real-time logistics scenarios, Digital Twin technology enables proactive decision-making and optimizes operational workflows. Initial results indicate significant improvements in the accuracy of resource allocation and the efficiency of operations management. This research contributes to the logistics field by demonstrating how Digital Twin technology can be effectively applied to enhance the functionality and performance of PI-Hubs, paving the way for more adaptive and efficient logistics systems.
