Abstract: This paper presents an approach to mitigating scalping in blockchain-based ticketing systems through the integration of lightweight AI algorithms. The solution includes an NFT-based ticketing system for enhanced traceability and a real-time AI scalper detection mechanism. The lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model achieves 93.57% accuracy, outperforming existing models and maintaining a compact size of 22.82 KB and requiring only 0.0107 MFLOPs. The PureNFT system’s blockchain implementation demonstrates gas cost efficiency across various ticketing operations and reveals the impact of network selection on transaction confirmation times. This integrated approach addresses persistent challenges in the ticketing industry, potentially improving event management and ticket distribution fairness.
