Abstract: This paper presents ProphEn, an advanced energy consumption forecasting tool applied to 28 industries in Gumi City, South Korea. Using Prophet models with seasonal and logistic growth variants, we analyze data from 2020 to 2022. By comparing basic and advanced models, our results demonstrate superior accuracy from advanced variants, supporting energy optimization and addressing Korea’s energy challenges, such as the 2021 electricity crisis.
