  • Abstract: This paper introduces EcoChain, a secure, decen- tralized framework combining blockchain-enabled generative explainable AI with reinforcement learning to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in industrial settings. EcoChain consists of four main components: (i) lifecycle moni- toring, (ii) energy monitoring, (iii) hybrid storage management, and (iv) a central controller. The AI-driven lifecycle monitoring system predicts device obsolescence in advance, prompting timely replacements, which can enhance energy efficiency by 19.5% (as per a 2024 survey of companies in the Gumi Industrial Complex). Additionally, the energy monitoring system contributes a 4.3% increase in energy efficiency. By leveraging hybrid storage that combines renewable energy and smart grid technology, EcoChain is anticipated to improve energy efficiency by 20% and reduce carbon emissions by 18%.
