Last Week's Progress

Title 2:
Revised the related work.
Added simulation results, which are accuracy and delay time of TLCS.
Added sentences that the result can be used in the real environment.

Title 3:
- Add comparison result.
- Finish the performance evaluation and conclusion.
- Edit the introduction and recheck the overall contents.

Title 4:
- Edited the introduction, edge computing architecture and algorithm design.
- Added figures for each section.
- Added references of edge computing, ITS, and task offloading.
- Established the infrastructure simulation: docker windows as the edge node.

This Week Todo's

Title 2:
- Reduce the explanation of the traffic light system.
- Add more explanation of traffic light system optimization using deep reinforcement learning.
- Check and correct the whole section before submitting it.

Title 3:
- Ask Prof. permission.
- Submit the paper.

Title 4:
- Check and correct thesis writing.
- Do the simulation in the edge server and connected vehicle with docker desktop.
- Figure out the metrics: delay from vehicle to edge, vehicle to edge to vehicle, accuracy
metric, and estimated total travel time.
- Add more references.
- Simulate the simple traffic prediction to show the proposed system appropriate with the
real-time requirement.
