IoT Applications and NSL International conference/Journal section

Team Leader
1. Received and reviewed 15 applications for Spring 2021 Admission
2. Follow up on 2 applications in First period. Others will apply in second period by December 1
3. Follow up on Mentors for Fall 2020 and formation of Mentors for Spring 2021.
4. Continue to interface with all Lab members for paper submissions and lab activities
5. Followed up on all members to update their personal profile on NSL website and other websites such as research gate.
6. Receive instructions from Professors and relate to lab members.


Project: IoT Applications for Smart Home (Project Leader)
1. IMU, UWB and LiDAr sensors received
2. GPU received for the team but computers not compatible
3. Have meetings with Project team members to solve the problem of integration
4. Assign jobs to all by developing schedule
5. Use the Vibration sensor to get more dataset
6. Investigate the poor training performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm used on the dataset
7. Received more sensors such as UWB and IMU.
8. Attended business meeting with Prof Lee and company group on results so far


NSL Activities: International Journals and Conference Section on NSL Website/OPNET Modeler Support

1. Sent messages to all Lab members who did not update their sections and personal profile
2. No one is using OPNET Modeler in the lab.
3. Monitoring status of NSL members on international Conferences/Journals and reported accordingly to team managers

1. Ensure the Datasets are collected using all the IMU, temperature, LiDAR and UWB sensors.
2. See the possibilities of commencing machine learning classification on datasets collected
3. Install and configure the RP LIDAR sensor and compare performance with TiM LiDAR sensor
4. Report all progress to Professor Lee and Kim.
5. Attended business meeting with Prof Lee and company group on results so far

6. Complete and write comprehensive report on IoT Projects
