Project Progress

1. Nigerian Project:
a. Meeting with post master researchers and Professor
b. Drafted and got approval for the March and April Targets
c. submitted two papers on Metaverse (Under review)
d. Started receiving reply from various agencies and universities in Nigeria.
e. Nigerian Army University replied and awaiting further discussions before MOU

2. Winter-intensive and NSL Matters:
a. Reviewed with Dr. Rubina, a total of 11 papers for submission to various journals.
b. Successfully completed the NSL 2022 Winter Intensive Workshop on 2022.03.22
c. 5 papers have been completed and submitted to their target journals
d. Weekly paper meeting and seminar going on smoothly

3. Outstanding Review Comments of Previous Authors' Papers (Former NSL or Postdoc)
a. IEEE IoT Journal final minor corrections completed and uploaded to the IEEE author center: (doi: 10.1109/jiot.2022.3152929)
b. IET Measurement paper returned with minor revision: (deadline is April 8, 2022)

Monthly Goals

1. Winter Intensive Completion
2. Releasing of review comments to all NSL papers deadline is 2022.03.18 (On-going)
3. Consolidating on the Nigerian Project and Clarity of Target Project.
4. Hold the NSL Workshop on 2022.03.22
5. Secure a collaboration meeting with at least one agency or arm of government in Nigeria.

Annual Goals

1. Submission of three journal articles with at least two (2) Acceptance
2. 50% increase in the number of NSL graduate students' papers accepted in SCIE journals (Acceptance target of 18 papers minimum)
3. Attracting and Training of skilled international graduate students
4. Attend at least one (1) International Conference
5. Achieve at least one (1) International Collaboration (Africa or Nigeria) with ICTCRC.
